The Maxivent by Econox MR4565 unit is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation system with heat recovery, specifically designed for educational institutions, theatres, and large-scale commercial buildings. With a nominal airflow of 6500 m³/h and a heat recovery rate exceeding 80%, this air handling unit is perfectly suited for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is essential. The unit operates using an efficient sorption wheel, EC fans, and an integrated control panel. Designed for floor mounting, the unit features handles on the right side for easy access and maintenance.
Benefits and Features
- Durable Enclosure: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2 class) to prevent thermal bridging. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-walled panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and reduce noise.
- Sorption Wheel: The Eurovent-certified sorption wheel recovers not only heat but also actively recovers moisture thanks to a hygroscopic coating, enhancing indoor climate comfort and further reducing energy consumption.
- EC Fans: Direct-driven EC motorised plug fans with high-efficiency electronic commutation (EC) provide an eco-friendly solution with low energy use and low noise levels.
- Maintenance-Friendly: Easy access to the air handling unit via handles on the right side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
- The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
- Control Panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel supports constant pressure or constant airflow control. It can be equipped with a CO₂ or humidity sensor and allows for display and operation of various functions (such as airflow regulation, temperature control, dirty filter alarms, frost protection, and more).
- Additional Components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with extra features such as hot and cold water coils, electric preheaters, attenuators, and protective devices tailored to user requirements.
