The Maxivent by Econox MR4545 unit is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation system with heat recovery, specifically designed for office buildings, sports facilities, and medium-sized commercial premises. With a nominal air volume of 4500 m³/h and heat recovery exceeding 80%, this air handling unit is ideal for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is a priority. The air handling unit operates using an efficient sorption wheel, EC fans, and an integrated control panel. It is designed for floor mounting and features handles on the left side, allowing easy access for opening and maintenance.
Advantages and Features
- Durable casing: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2-class) to prevent thermal bridging. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-skinned panels are insulated with 45 mm of rock wool to minimise heat loss and noise.
- Sorption wheel: The Eurovent-certified sorption wheel recovers not only heat but also actively recovers moisture due to a hygroscopic coating, improving indoor climate comfort and further reducing energy consumption.
- EC fans: Direct-driven, electronically commutated (EC) plug fans deliver a high-efficiency, low-energy, and low-noise ecological solution.
- Maintenance-friendly: Easy access to the air handling unit through the handles on the left side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
- The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
- Control panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel is suitable for constant pressure or constant volume regulation. It can be equipped with a CO₂ or humidity sensor and allows display and control of multiple functions (such as airflow control, temperature regulation, dirty filter alerts, frost protection, and more).
- Additional components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with additional functionalities, such as hot and chilled water coils, electric preheaters, silencers, and protective features, tailored to the user’s requirements.
