Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4540 Horizontal Left - CCDX1L
The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory to extend the M4540 air handling unit, horizontal left configuration. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, and copper tubes and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 24.16 kW for heating and 25.74 kW for cooling, guarantees excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.
A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow in the air handling unit by evaporation or condensation. The key difference and advantage compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat and operates directly with the refrigerant. No intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, keeping the installation compact and minimising heat loss.
The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4540 air handling unit.
