Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4516 Horizontal Right - CCDX1R
The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the M4516 air handling unit, horizontal right configuration. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, the DX coil delivers excellent thermal conductivity and features a corrosion-resistant casing, with a capacity of 8.71 kW for heating and 9.21 kW for cooling.
A refrigerant (e.g., R410A or R32) circulates within the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow in the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The key difference, and advantage, over a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat while working directly with the refrigerant. This eliminates the need for an intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) for heat transfer, allowing the installation to remain compact with reduced heat loss.
The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4516 air handling unit.
