Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4516 Horizontal Low Profile Left - CCDX1L
The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory to expand the M4516 air handling unit, horizontal low profile left version. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 8.71 kW for heating and 9.21 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.
A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airstream inside the air handling unit by evaporation or condensation. The main difference and advantage compared to a hot- or chilled-water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat while working directly with the refrigerant. No intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, making the installation more compact and reducing heat loss.
The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal low profile M4516 air handling unit.
