The Maxivent by Econox M4020 system is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation unit with heat recovery, specifically designed for small schools, hospitality spaces, and small-scale commercial buildings. With a nominal airflow of 2000 m³/h and heat recovery of up to 90%, this air handling unit is excellently suited for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is a priority. The unit operates via an efficient counterflow heat exchanger, EC fans, an integrated control panel and a remote controller with 10 m cable. Designed for ceiling mounting, the AHU features handles on the right side for easy opening and maintenance.

Benefits and Features

Durable casing: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2-class) to prevent thermal bridges. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-walled panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and sound.
Counterflow heat exchanger: The integrated, efficient, and Eurovent-certified counterflow heat exchanger recovers up to 80% of the thermal energy from the exhaust air without mixing air streams.
EC fans: Direct-driven EC electronically commutated plug fans provide an ecological solution with low energy consumption and low noise levels.
Maintenance-friendly: Easy access to the air handling unit via handles on the right side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced and/or installed.
The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
Control panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel is suitable for constant pressure or constant airflow control. It can be equipped with a CO₂ or humidity sensor, enabling the display and control of multiple functions (such as airflow regulation, temperature control, dirty filter alarms, frost protection, and more).
Additional components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with extra functionalities such as hot and chilled water coils, electric preheaters, and dampers tailored to the user’s specifications.
