The Maxivent by Econox chilled water coil is an optional accessory for expanding the horizontal M4516 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, this chilled water coil with a capacity of 8.38 kW ensures excellent thermal conductivity.
The heat exchanger uses an external cooling source, such as a chiller or heat pump, to cool air via chilled water. The chilled water flows in through the header and is then distributed across the copper tubes. Air passes over the cooled tubes and fins, absorbing the cold. The cooled air is then supplied to the designated space. Once heated, the water is discharged via the opposite header back to the cooling source.
The coil is versatile, safe to use, and easy to install. The chilled water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4516 air handling unit.
