Maxivent Chilled Water Coil 14.40 kW for M4540 Horizontal - CCW1
The Maxivent by Econox chilled water coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the horizontal M4540 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, this chilled water coil, with a capacity of 14.40 kW, ensures excellent thermal conductivity.
The heat exchanger utilises an external cooling source, such as a chiller or heat pump, to cool air by means of chilled water. Cold water flows in through the header, then is distributed across the copper tubes. Air then passes over the cooled tubes and fins, absorbing the chill. The cooled air is subsequently supplied to the designated space. Once the water has warmed up, it is discharged back to the cooling source via the opposite header.
The coil is versatile, safe to use, and straightforward to install. The chilled water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4540 air handling unit.
