Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 69.90 kW Heating, 26.50 kW - CCW2

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory for extending the horizontal M4540 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, the automatic switching water coil, with a capacity of 69.90 kW for heating and 26.50 kW for cooling, guarantees excellent thermal conductivity.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, transferring heat to or from the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or chilled water. The distinction and advantage compared to a traditional hot or cold water coil is that the automatic switching water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is easily managed via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4540 air handling unit.
