The Maxivent automatic changeover water coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the MR4565 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, the automatic changeover water coil guarantees excellent thermal conduction with a capacity of 114.00 kW for heating and 41.40 kW for cooling.
Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. A key difference and advantage compared to a conventional hot or chilled water coil is that the automatic changeover water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between these functions is easily done via a control valve.
The automatic changeover water coil is mounted on the side of the MR4565 air handling unit.
