Maxivent Automatic Switching Sensor - COS

The Maxivent automatic switching sensor is an optional accessory for the M45, MR45, and M40 air handling units, designed to convert the chilled water coil into an automatic switching water coil. Additionally, the sensor can serve as a replacement part should the original sensor in the automatic switching water coil fail.

The sensor measures the temperature of the circulating water, after which the control valve automatically determines whether hot or cold water must flow through the heat exchanger. This ensures the system seamlessly switches between heating and cooling modes depending on the building’s requirements, without the need for manual intervention.
