Homevap Evaporation Matrix HEMATK – Cooler

The Homevap evaporation matrix HEMATK is used in the cooler and serves a dual purpose within the system. Besides evaporation, this matrix acts as a pre-filter for the return air from the building. This effectively captures dust particles and dirt before the air reaches the HRV unit.

Performance & Practical Use

Because all exhaust air flows through this matrix, it captures a significant amount of household dust. This substantially reduces the load on the HRV filters. The specific design of the corrugated structure results in a different pressure drop compared to humidification matrices, tailored specifically for cooler applications.

Installation, Maintenance and Applications

The matrix can be cleaned at the first service call. For consistently optimal performance, replacement is recommended at least every two seasons. The HEMATK is suited for cooler applications such as in HEPC and systems within HEPAS and HEPCC configurations.
