HomEvap WTW Cooler
The HomEvap cooler is suitable for any heat recovery ventilation (HRV) system, supplied with wired controls, and is completely legionella safe. The HomEvap has been developed to create a comfortable cooled indoor climate, and does so successfully.
The cooler (HEPC) can be connected to any heat recovery unit on the return air supply within the home using coupling pieces. The cooler is easily connected to your water supply and drainage system. Additionally, the HomEvap is always delivered with Hedis wired controls, allowing you to set the cooling and operate it fully automatically.
Operation of the HomEvap WTW Cooler
The return air (extracted from the HRV unit on the living side) passes through a moistened matrix and legionella filter. This cools the air down to very close to the wet-bulb temperature of the air, for example, 29°C/30% humidity is cooled to 20°C/75% humidity, achieving an efficiency of no less than 80%. This process is known as adiabatic cooling. The heat exchanger effectively becomes a cold exchanger, enabling you to cool the air in your home quietly, safely, and energy-efficiently.
