The Ergovent flush-mounted frameless linear grille of 600 mm is a linear ventilation grille specifically designed for installation in plasterboard ceilings and walls. The Lineo Profile creates a minimalist, subtle slot in the surface, making it barely noticeable and seamlessly blending into the interior design. The ventilation grille is designed for flexible plastic duct systems with a 75 mm connection diameter. Unlike the horizontal Lineo Profile, this version directs airflow vertically (from top to bottom or vice versa). The connections are located at the top of the grille, not on the side.

Installation of the ventilation grille

The Lineo Profile 600 vertical is mounted directly onto the plasterboard ceiling profiles using the side brackets. For optimal adhesion, it is important to first clean the surface and any joints from dust. To prevent cracking in the finish, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of glass-fibre mesh over the visible surface of the grille. Afterwards, a primer can be applied on the areas that will be plastered. After surface treatment, fixing the grille, and connecting the duct system, the entire assembly is finished and painted in the same colour as the ceiling for a clean, seamless appearance. The Lineo Profile vertical has a fixed length of 600 mm, is suitable for a single supply or exhaust air connection from the ventilation system, and is not connectable.

Standard or profile?

• Lineo Single (standard): Free-standing model for a single, independent connection to a flexible ventilation duct, which must be installed directly on the concrete ceiling before the plasterboard ceiling is mounted.
• Lineo Profile (profile): Free-standing model for a single, independent connection to a flexible ventilation duct, which can be mounted directly on the plasterboard frame for faster installation.

Operation

The Lineo Profile comes standard with an integrated air control damper at the rear. After installation, it can be easily adjusted using an Allen key, allowing for precise regulation of airflow per room — without the need for separate valves. The damper is suitable for both supply and exhaust air, making the grille ideal for mechanical ventilation systems.
