The DucoBox Energy Comfort Plus D550 is designed for balanced ventilation systems with heat recovery. (System D) The efficiency of the unit has been tested according to NBN EN308 and it has a high thermal efficiency of 78% according to EPBD (Belgium).
This smart and quiet ventilation unit, with its different versions and adjustable capacity up to 350m3/h, is the solution for any situation in a covered residential construction.
The unit draws fresh air into the service area and exhausts dirty air. While doing this, it also uses the heat from the air change. While performing this function, it also uses the heat from the exhaust air using the heat recovery section. Thanks to the heat recovery section inside, this unit has great thermal efficiency.
The DucoBox Energy Comfort's demand control results in intelligent and energy-efficient operation. Together with the smart demand control based on CO2 and humidity, the dynamic air distribution filters ensure exceptional efficiency in this compact unit. It helps reduce energy bills!
Thanks to the unique comfort temperature setting principle, you can set the temperature per zone, e.g. 21.5° for the day zone and 18° for the night zone. This provides significantly increased thermal comfort.

  With the standard DucoBox Energy Comfort, it is possible to achieve up to 0.56 f_{reduction heat} with the right configuration.

  Optional compact external 2-zone (multi-zone damper):

  With external 2-zone control, the house is divided into day and night zones. The zone control works on the basis of CO2 and humidity and ventilates only where and when needed and in the right amount. Zonal ventilation results in maximum energy savings and increased acoustic and thermal comfort.

  1. Compact installation
     The multi-zone valves are installed in the supply pipes (D125 or D160) and require only 78 mm of free space. They can be used anywhere in the piping system. The installer can make his own choice based on ease of installation, accessibility, etc.
  2. Energy savings
     With zonal ventilation, we do not ventilate the whole house, but only the zones where people are active. Therefore, our systems need to work less hard, resulting in significantly lower energy consumption (40%) of the ventilation unit and heating system.
  3. Silent operation
     The reduced rotation of the motor results in significantly quieter operation (30%).
  4. Greater thermal comfort
     Thanks to the unique principle of setting the comfort temperature, you can set the temperature per zone, e.g. 21.5° for the day zone and 18° for the night zone. This provides significantly increased thermal comfort.
