Smart Design

This Alnor heat recovery unit consists of multiple components and features a highly efficient design, including an external grille with insect screen, a telescopic duct, an integrated ceramic 'honeycomb' heat exchanger, and a removable dust filter. In terms of operation, these Alnor WTW units deliver optimal performance when installed in two opposite rooms within the same system group. When you synchronise two units for alternating operation (one unit supplies air while the other exhausts), they operate at peak efficiency. This can, of course, be set up entirely wirelessly via Wi-Fi!

Control via the App

Devices can be paired and controlled in various ways. Thanks to the Wi-Fi module, you can connect the WTW unit to a wireless network and control it through an official Alnor app, such as WallAIR. With this, you can assign two or more WTW units to a group and control them collectively. If desired, you can create multiple groups to manage all WTW units within a building through a single application. The app also allows you to view readings from the built-in temperature sensor and relative humidity sensor.

Using an Android or iOS phone/tablet, you can operate the app quickly and easily. You can adjust speeds and airflow directions (heat recovery mode or supply/extract mode). Additionally, you can set timers and monitor temperature and/or relative humidity levels. The most recent humidity readings are always available within the app.

Free-Cooling

The HRU-WALL is equipped with a smart Free-Cooling function, an automatic bypass that directs fresh outside air indoors when the outdoor temperature is favourable. This provides natural night cooling and additional comfort without any manual intervention – fully automatic and energy-efficient. The Free-Cooling function does not involve a manually operated damper but activates automatically under suitable outdoor temperature conditions.
