Belimo Rotary Damper Actuator with Spring Return 24V - Open/Close - 2.5 Nm - TF24
The Belimo TF24 is a compact rotary damper actuator with spring return designed for open/close control of small air damper sections up to approx. 0.5 m² in technical building installations. The actuator operates on an open/close signal: when supply voltage is present, it moves to the operating position and tensions the internal return springs. In the event of a power failure, the damper automatically and independently returns to the safe position, powered by the spring energy. This makes the actuator suitable for applications requiring a predefined safety position, such as fire/smoke and emergency ventilation dampers in smaller air ducts. The motor achieves a 90° rotation angle in 75 seconds, and the spring return closes the damper in less than 25 seconds. The standby power consumption is 1.5 W and the motor's noise level is 50 dB(A). With a torque of 2.5 Nm and a compact size, it is ideally suited for small dampers in ventilation systems.

Installation, Maintenance and Applications
The actuator mounts directly onto the damper shaft using the included universal clamp ring, suitable for shaft diameters from 6 to 12.7 mm. The shaft must be at least 84 mm long and extend at least 20 mm. An included anti-rotation device prevents the actuator from rotating with the shaft. The direction of movement for both motor and spring return is set via the installation orientation (L/R). The rotation angle is mechanically adjustable via stops up to a maximum of 95°. The TF24 does not have a manual override. Electrical connection is via a fixed 1-metre cable with two cores of 0.75 mm². The actuator is maintenance-free and suitable for open/close control of small air damper sections in ventilation units, fan coil units, smaller air handling units, and emergency ventilation dampers in commercial and residential building installations.
