The Belimo room temperature sensor is designed for precise measurement of air temperature in various indoor environments. Thanks to its compact, white design (RAL 9003) and seamless wall mounting on a standard flush-mounted box, with wiring completely concealed within the wall, the sensor integrates unobtrusively into the interior. The passive Ni1000TK5000 element accurately converts the measured temperature into a resistance signal processed by the control system. Based on this measurement, the system is automatically regulated to maintain constant and efficient climate control.

Installation, Maintenance and Applications

Wiring can be connected either from inside the wall or over the wall via spring terminals. Due to its passive design, no power supply is required. The sensor is used in commercial and residential buildings for room temperature measurement in conjunction with an external controller or BMS.

Practical Information

The room temperature sensor is housed in a flat white polycarbonate enclosure measuring 86 x 86 x 13 mm. The Ni1000TK5000 element directly transmits the resistance signal to the controller. The sensor is dust-protected in accordance with IP30 and suitable for use in dry indoor environments. This model is designed for easy integration into existing and new HVAC installations where room temperature measurement via a passive sensor is required.
