The Belimo duct and immersion temperature sensor is designed for measuring air and water temperatures in HVAC systems and, when used with an immersion sleeve, can also be applied in pipes. It features a fixed stainless steel probe and housing for stable and protected installation. The passive PT1000 element accurately converts the measured temperature into a resistance signal processed by the control system. Based on this measurement, the system is automatically regulated to ensure consistent and efficient climate control.
The sensor is suitable for mounting in air ducts and, when combined with an immersion sleeve, also in pipes. Correct positioning of the probe ensures representative temperature measurement within the medium. The housing allows for safe and clear connections via a terminal block. Due to its passive design, no power supply is required. The sensor is used in commercial buildings, residential construction, and industrial HVAC systems where reliable temperature measurement is essential.
The sensor features a stainless steel probe 300 mm in length and 6 mm in diameter, enabling measurements deeper within the medium. The housing is made from impact-resistant plastic and includes a cable gland with strain relief for a reliable connection. The PT1000 element transmits the resistance signal directly to the controller. This version is suitable for both duct and pipe applications where robust installation and stable measurement are required.
