The combination of the insulated plenum and aluminium linear diffuser with four adjustable pattern blades forms a complete set for quiet, uniform air supply in spaces where comfortable, draught-free air distribution is required, such as large office buildings, shopping centres, auditoriums, and other commercial projects with high ventilation demands. The linear diffuser is made from extruded aluminium; the plenum from galvanized steel with sound-absorbing insulation. Both components are matched to work seamlessly together: the plenum evenly distributes the supply air over the entire slot length of 500 mm, while the linear diffuser optimally distributes the airflow through four adjustable deflector profiles across the space. With four slots, this diffuser combines the highest capacity in the range with the draught-free air distribution characteristic of the Econox system. Thanks to the Coanda effect, the air spreads along the ceiling without draughts, providing a comfortable indoor climate in the occupied zone.

Installation and Applications

The linear diffuser is mounted from underneath onto the plenum using the supplied galvanized mounting bracket. For connection, the air intake deflector is rotated 90°, after which the diffuser is easily attached from below to the plenum. The plenum then connects to the ventilation duct via a round connection. Thanks to its compact installation height, the set also fits ceilings with limited free space. After installation, the diffuser’s deflectors can be manually adjusted for horizontal or vertical air discharge. The set is suitable for offices, retail, schools, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial buildings.
