The combination of the insulated plenum and the aluminium linear diffuser with four adjustable pattern blades forms a complete system for quiet, even air supply in spaces where comfortable and draught-free airflow distribution is desired, such as large office buildings, shopping centres, auditoriums, and other commercial projects with high ventilation demands. The linear diffuser is made of extruded aluminium in RAL 9010; the plenum is constructed from galvanised steel with sound-absorbing insulation. Both components are perfectly matched and function as one unit: the plenum evenly distributes the supply air across the full slot length of 1000 mm, while the linear diffuser optimally directs the airflow through four adjustable deflector profiles. With four slots, this linear diffuser combines the highest capacity in the range with the draught-free airflow distribution characteristic of the Econox system. Thanks to the Coanda effect, the air spreads along the ceiling without draughts, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate in the occupied zone.

Installation and Applications

The linear diffuser is mounted from below onto the plenum using the supplied galvanised mounting bracket. For connection, the air inlet deflector is rotated 90°, after which the diffuser is easily attached from underneath to the plenum. The plenum then connects to the ventilation duct via a round connection. Thanks to its compact installation height, the set also fits into ceilings with limited free space. After installation, the diffuser’s deflectors can be manually adjusted to achieve horizontal or vertical airflow direction. This set is suitable for offices, retail spaces, schools, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial buildings.
