Why choose a Comair HRUC-E 3-position control (DS V2.0)
For the HRUC-E you should always use a control. Without a control the unit cannot function!
With the 3-position control you can manually select the ventilation positions and see when the unit needs maintenance or service.
Position 1 Low ventilation setting - (Bottom):
This setting is recommended for use at night and when absent.
Setting 2 Medium ventilation setting - (Middle):
This is the recommended setting for the unit during normal use of the home.
Setting 3 High ventilation setting - (Upper):
This setting is recommended when there is a lot of polluted air or water vapour. For example, when cooking, showering, visiting or smoking.
The light behind the setting indicates which setting is active. The setting can be changed manually with the arrows "up" and "down". It is possible to set the speed of the fan stages. Contact your installer if you want to change the speed.
The orange lamp behind this symbol flashes if the fan speed is lower than speed one. The unit will then run at minimum speed. This can be used if you are absent for a long time, for example during holidays. If the unit is switched off, this lamp will be lit continuously. If you want demand-controlled ventilation, for example using a CO2 sensor, you can set the unit to this position.
The unit will then automatically start to run faster when the CO2 content increases. The optional CO2 sensor is required for this.
