The Orcon WTU EC filters ensure optimal air quality by filtering the supply air to indoor spaces. These filters are designed to efficiently remove fine particulate matter from the air and contribute to a healthy indoor climate.
The supply air in a WTU system is typically filtered by an ISO ePM coarse 50% filter. Optionally, a second filter, classified as ePM1 60% or ePM1 85%, can be added. These filters capture at least 60% and 85% of particulate matter of ≤ 1μm, respectively, in accordance with the ISO 16890 standard. The ePM1 85% filter also meets the requirements of the Fresh Schools Program.

Since August 2018, the filter standard has changed. The quality of the filters is no longer indicated by G3, M5, or F7 but by the new ISO16890 classification. With this new standard, the quality of MVHR filters can be indicated much more accurately, providing greater clarity for the customer. The new regulations specify the following values per filter:
