Orcon HRV 400 MVHR Filters
Orcon HRV 400 MVHR filters are specially developed for the heat recovery system of Orcon. These filters ensure that the indoor air quality remains optimal by filtering dust and other particles from the air. Regular inspection and replacement of the filters is essential for the proper functioning of the ventilation system.
New Regulations for MVHR Filters: ISO16890
Since August 2018, the filter standard has changed. The quality of the filters is no longer indicated by G3, M5, or F7 but by the new ISO16890 standard. With this new standard, the quality of MVHR filters can be indicated much more accurately, providing greater clarity for the customer. The new regulations specify the following values per filter:
- ISO Coarse - percentage of coarse dust that is captured by the filter
- ISO ePM1 - percentage of fine particulate matter ( < 1 µm ) that the filter captures
- ISO ePM2.5 - percentage of fine particulate matter ( < 2.5 µm ) that the filter captures
- ISO ePM10 - percentage of fine particulate matter ( < 10 µm ) that the filter captures
