In our vertical air handling units with counterflow heat exchangers, the supply and exhaust airflows pass each other in opposite directions. Heat from the extracted air is efficiently transferred to the fresh outdoor air without mixing the airflows and with minimal heat loss. The units operate using EC fans, ensuring stable and consistent ventilation. Filters clean both the incoming outdoor air and the extracted indoor air, contributing to a healthy indoor climate and a longer service life of the installation.

• PHE V WOJR/L: The PHE WOJR/L units are air handling units with capacities ranging from 840 to 5270 m³/h. The unit includes a hot water coil that provides efficient and uniform heating of the supply air by using hot water from a central heating system or heat pump, resulting in a comfortable indoor climate and energy-efficient heat transfer.

How do you install and maintain a vertical counterflow AHU?

Ensure that the air handling unit is installed in an easily accessible position, with sufficient space around it for maintenance. Keep the filters clean and replace them in a timely manner to maintain air quality. Regular cleaning of ducts and grilles contributes to proper airflow.
