Inlet pieces for axial fans are mounted between an axial fan and the air ducts of the ventilation system. They form a flexible connection using a plastic or silicone ring. This prevents the vibrations from the fan from spreading further through the ducts of the ventilation system.
With a flexible inlet piece, you create a vibration-free connection between the axial fans and the rest of the ventilation system. This prevents noise and vibrations from being noticeable further along in the system, thus increasing comfort! The heat-resistant version is also designed to withstand temperatures of 400 degrees for a long period of 2 hours. Therefore, these versions are very suitable for smoke and heat extraction (RWA) in case of fire, in combination with a flue gas fan.
The inlet pieces from the Ruck RAS series come in 2 variants. Both variants are used together with the axial fans and accessories from Ruck.
These inlet pieces are available in the following sizes (mm):
These inlet pieces comply with the F400 standard for fire safety and are therefore suitable for use in smoke and heat extraction applications, which are important in case of fire. They are available in the following diameters (mm):
Both ends of the inlet piece are equipped with a flange with holes for connection to other components using bolts and nuts.
