The filter boxes from Ruck are used to filter (large) pieces of dirt and/or dust from the airflow. The filter box is installed in the duct leading to the box fan. By filtering the air, you prevent dirt or dust from reaching the blades of the fan, the motor, or the air duct. This protects the fan from dirt and impact, thus extending its lifespan! It is important to clean the filter box from time to time and replace it if necessary, to maintain the high performance of the box fan.
The filter boxes from the Ruck FB product line form the basis of a filter system used with a Ruck box fan of the type MPC or MPC T. The additional requirements for using your filter can also be found at Ventilationland. The filter boxes are not supplied with filters as standard.
By adding a protective grille to your Ruck filter box, you not only prevent small dirt and dust from reaching the fan, but you also ensure that larger pieces of dirt are filtered out of the air.
These filters are placed in the filter box and constitute the active part of the filter box. They need to be replaced or cleaned regularly to continue delivering good performance.
