EnviSense has become known for its CO2 monitor. With this monitor, not only CO2 levels can be read, but also temperature and humidity. The CO2 meter is very accurate and also features a data logger where the CO2 content of the past day or week can be seen. With this user-friendly device, you will always stay informed of fluctuations in CO2 levels. In fact, an alarm can be set at a certain ppm, so you will automatically hear when you need to ventilate. Besides the convenient alarm control and data logger, the EnviSense CO2 meter also features three coloured LED lights. Green represents a healthy indoor climate: less than 1000 ppm CO2. Yellow represents moderate air quality: between 1000 and 1400 ppm CO2. Red requires immediate ventilation, otherwise there will be harmful effects on your health: more than 1400 ppm CO2. CO2 levels in a room are a good indication of how well the air is ventilated. People breathe out CO2, and if fresh outside air is not supplied, this leads to CO2 levels in the room increasing. Ventilation can be achieved by opening a window, but often a mechanical solution is more appropriate. In this case, air is supplied and removed automatically and you do not have to worry about it. Air that is not renewed can be very dangerous, you can read more about this in our blog on the consequences of poor ventilation.
