The Brink Indoor Mixfan is an innovative CO2 demand-controlled fan that you install in the living space. This system is designed to work in conjunction with a Brink Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) system without supply ducts! This allows you to add a MVHR system in existing buildings. You can enjoy energy-efficient ventilation without the need for supply ducts.

How does it work?

The basis of the system is the Brink MVHR system. Because the Multi Air Supply system has no supply ducts, the Brink MVHR blows the supply air through the stairwell to the living spaces. The living spaces in the home are ventilated with the Indoor Mixfan using air from the "traffic area" such as the hall or landing. The Indoor Mixfan is located above the door of the living space. Using the Mixfan, air is drawn from the living space based on demand. At the same time, air flows from the central landing or hall into the respective bedroom or living room through an overflow provision (gap under the door or grille). Each Indoor Mixfan is equipped with a CO2 sensor. When the CO2 level in the living space becomes too high, the Mixfan will automatically increase its speed and exhaust the air to the traffic area.
