How does an Extract valve work?

Extraction vents are installed at the end of an air duct. They form the first part of the path for the contaminated air to exit. The exact airflow can be regulated, as all extraction vents can be manually adjusted. The opening for the air can be made larger or smaller, allowing for more or less air to be extracted. Which spaces are Extract valves suitable for?

Extract valves are essential for ensuring good air quality in humid spaces, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. In these areas, it is crucial that the humid air is extracted. This prevents mold growth and improves air quality in these spaces.

Installation and Mounting

Extraction vents can be used with both heat recovery systems and mechanical ventilation systems. All extraction vents can be clamped directly or with a mounting sleeve into the exhaust duct. Often, no tools are required for this!

It is also possible to enhance extraction vents with so-called cone filters. These filters are placed behind the vent, in the exhaust duct. With these filters, you prevent dirty particles from entering your ventilation system, making it easier to keep the system clean and prolonging its lifespan.
