Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Energy prices are skyrocketing, and decesion have to be made between eating or heating. It is time to make our homes more sustainable and thus save energy. In summer, our homes use less energy than in winter. In summer you are outside more often and the heating does not have to be switched on. In winter, we often keep the windows closed to keep the heat in, but unfortunately that is when the problems arise. There is no fresh air coming into our well insulated houses. The lack of fresh air leads to high CO2 levels, which in turn leads to various health complaints.

Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Ventilation is necessary to create a healthy living environment. In damp rooms like the bathroom, good ventilation is extra important. This prevents health problems, but also problems such as strange odours, slipperiness, condensation and moisture problems including mould. Mould mainly grows in damp places and is not always visible. You can get rid of mould with baking soda, bleach or more persistent anti-fungal sprays, but this is only a short-term solution. To prevent mould and tackle it at its cause, it is necessary to ventilate the bathroom all year round. Moist air should especially not linger too long, especially if you like to take nice long showers.
