The new HRC EcoSmart ensures demand-controlled ventilation in two zones based on a CO2 air quality measurement. In the living room and master bedroom, CO2 sensors are placed which communicate wirelessly with the zone valves. As a result, at any time of the day, exactly the requested air flow is provided in the right place in the house. The system is whisper quiet and has a maximum flow rate of 425 m³/h at 200 Pa. The heat is recovered with an efficiency of more than 99% and a so-called 'smart control' with elliptical valve is used for an extra high level of comfort.

Capacity 2-zone system
The flow rate of 570 m3/h, as stated above, is calculated by taking 70% of the maximum continuous flow rate (the capacity of the MVHR unit at maximum output) of 405 m3/h and multiplying it by 2, for the number of zones the unit can ventilate separately. 405 x 0.7 x 2 = 567 (with margin of ~3 m3/h due to never fully closing the smart valves). Since you are using a night and day zone and generally there is no need to ventilate all rooms continuously throughout the day, the smart MVHR unit can therefore, despite continuously ventilating a maximum of 405 m3/h, be used for houses/premises of which the ventilation calculation is a maximum of 570 m3/h.

Installation friendly
The wireless communication between the sensors, the unit and the valves is a great advantage. This means that they can also be installed further down the ductwork and no extra wires need to be pulled or connected. In addition, the valves are equipped with fully transparent housings so that the valve position can be easily seen, thus simplifying installation and maintenance. This makes the system very flexible, installation-friendly and easy to use.

The advantages of the new HRC
.
Just like the HRC EcoMax and MaxComfort, this latest system has the highest thermal efficiency in the market, highest A+ energy label, built-in humidity sensor, low noise level and a modulating 100% bypass.

The low energy consumption of the device in combination with the high thermal efficiency ensures a perfect EPC score and is completely ready for the stricter BENG requirements. The energy consumption has even been reduced by 60% compared to the previous generation, which is due to the fact that the unit has been completely redesigned and is fitted with the very latest ventilation techniques. Next to that, up to 20 different sensors can be used, including the CO2 control sensor and CO2 room sensor.
