Orcon HRC 500 EcoMax 500m³/h at 150Pa

The new HRC 500 EcoMax is the new MVHR unit from Orcon and replaces the HRC BRPH-15. The HRC EcoMax is up to 60% more energy efficient than its predecessor, with a thermal efficiency of 99.7%! The unit has a maximum flow rate of 500 m³/h at 150Pa and is very quiet.

TIP: The MVHR unit can be set to 500m³/h at 200 Pa using the dip switches.

Orcon's MVHR unit is one of the smartest heat recovery units on the market. Thanks to the many integrated sensors, the device measures the living conditions precisely and can anticipate them. This demand-controlled ventilation prevents unnecessary energy consumption. The HRC 500 comes with the following integrated sensors:

  • 3 humidity sensors
  • 8 temperature sensors
  • 2 anemometer sensors

Thanks to the 13 built-in sensors, the flow can be balanced with an accuracy of 1%. The sensors also ensure even better regulation in different demand-controlled scenarios such as bypass, frost, shower and cooking programs. In addition, up to 20 additional RF sensors or RF controls can be connected to the unit.

The Orcon 500 EcoMax MVHR is exceptionally easy to install. The unit is suitable for both left and right assembly by mounting the control, filters and front plate on the other side of the unit. In addition, the ventilation ducts can be connected to either the side and or the top. The device is supplied without plug.

Left and right version

There are two ways of connecting the Orcon HRC EcoMax. The unit comes in the "left" version by default. The dwelling connections are on the left, and the connections to the outside are on the right. But this can be easily adjusted: if the front and back are detached, the unit can be turned over! For further information, consult the installation manual.

Other properties of the Orcon HRC 500 Healthline EcoMax:

  • Latest EBM-papst 3D scrolls with Radical impellers and intelligent anemometer technology
  • With humidity sensor as standard
  • Best balancing technique accurate to 1%
  • Highly insulating EPP housing
  • Filter indicator

What is an MVHR unit? Energy-efficient ventilation
What is an MVHR unit? Energy-efficient ventilation
The abbreviation MVHR stands for heat recovery and is a method of ventilation in which as little heat as possible is lost. With MVHR ventilation, the used, warm air is simply removed and its heat is transferred to the fresh, cold air that flows through the ventilation system into the house. An MVHR unit keeps the air flows in your home balanced, which is why it is also known as balanced ventilation. The system is also known as 'ventilation system D'.
