Vent-Axia Svensa PureAir

The Vent-Axia Svensa PureAir is the first bathroom extractor fan with an odour sensor! This means that this unique fan responds to unpleasant odours and is therefore very handy in your bathroom or toilet. When a strong odour is detected, the fan automatically starts to turn faster. This ensures that all odours are quickly removed! The Svensa PureAir also features an advanced humidity sensor, so even when showering, the fan switches on a little. In addition to the humidity and odour sensor, the fan also has a timer and the option of a delayed start. The fan remains very quiet: in operation the fan has a sound level of only 19 dB.

Low consumption
The Svensa bathroom extractor fan runs continuously in the lowest setting and is only turned up when necessary. So this fan has a low energy consumption! If no activity is detected in your home for 26 hours, a 60-minute ventilation program is started to provide the room with fresh air (adjustable). This way, the bathroom does not get damp or musty when you are away on holiday!

Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Energy prices are skyrocketing, and decesion have to be made between eating or heating. It is time to make our homes more sustainable and thus save energy. In summer, our homes use less energy than in winter. In summer you are outside more often and the heating does not have to be switched on. In winter, we often keep the windows closed to keep the heat in, but unfortunately that is when the problems arise. There is no fresh air coming into our well insulated houses. The lack of fresh air leads to high CO2 levels, which in turn leads to various health complaints.

Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Ventilation is necessary to create a healthy living environment. In damp rooms like the bathroom, good ventilation is extra important. This prevents health problems, but also problems such as strange odours, slipperiness, condensation and moisture problems including mould. Mould mainly grows in damp places and is not always visible. You can get rid of mould with baking soda, bleach or more persistent anti-fungal sprays, but this is only a short-term solution. To prevent mould and tackle it at its cause, it is necessary to ventilate the bathroom all year round. Moist air should especially not linger too long, especially if you like to take nice long showers.
