Ruck® smoke extractor box fan with linear airflow and motor outside the air stream

The Ruck® smoke box fan (MPC DFTI series) has a frequency-driven motor, this three-phase motor is mounted outside the air stream. The advantage of this is that any dirty and contaminated air (grease or smoke) is not discharged via the motor. This allows the fan to continuously handle a temperature of 200°C, and temporarily (120 minutes) even 400°C! The box fan with motor outside the air stream is therefore often used for extraction in the catering industry. This box fan has a linear airflow, so the direction of the air stream remains the same. Attention: the fan must be controlled with a frequency converter. If desired, the frequency converter can be controlled with a variable potentiometer.

The box fan is equipped with 30 mm insulation and has internal electronic temperature control to prevent burn out. The smoke box fan can be mounted via Ruck®'s base frame and has a variable discharge direction. The MPC DFTI series is available with capacities ranging from 1960 m3/h up to a maximum of 8985 m3/h. All Ruck® smoke extractor fans are also F400 certified.

Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Energy prices are skyrocketing, and decesion have to be made between eating or heating. It is time to make our homes more sustainable and thus save energy. In summer, our homes use less energy than in winter. In summer you are outside more often and the heating does not have to be switched on. In winter, we often keep the windows closed to keep the heat in, but unfortunately that is when the problems arise. There is no fresh air coming into our well insulated houses. The lack of fresh air leads to high CO2 levels, which in turn leads to various health complaints.
