Good ventilation in your home is very important for your health. New-build houses in particular are increasingly well insulated these days; there is almost no more natural ventilation via grilles and gaps. Good insulation is good for energy saving, so how can you ventilate well and still save on energy? This can be done by using a heat recovery system (WTW), also known as a balance fan. In a new-build home, the necessary ducts can be laid throughout the house, which is very convenient. In an existing house, however, this is usually not (properly) possible.
