Vent Axia bathroom extractor fan Lo-Carbon iQ 100-125mm

The Lo-Carbon iQ from Vent-Axia is a smart bathroom extractor fan with self-learning humidity sensor. This fully automatic humidity control only learns to ventilate when actually needed. The remarkably flat retro design of the bathroom extractor fan is due to the removable fitting which allows assembly tightly against the wall. The Lo-Carbon iQ also has a very low sound level.

Functions

The fan has an apolar switch, so no external switch is needed. The delayed switch-off time can be set by means of a light button, pull cord on the fan or separate switch, and a delayed switch-off time of 5, 15 or 30 minutes can be selected via the control panel. With the integrated aeration function, the Lo-Carbon iQ ventilates in spray mode for 60 minutes after 26 hours of inactivity in order to refresh the air in the room. The fan can also be used as basic ventilation in the house with continuous operation. The Lo-Carbon iQ has a maximum air volume of 133 m³/h.

Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Tips to reduce your energy bills with good ventilation
Energy prices are skyrocketing, and decesion have to be made between eating or heating. It is time to make our homes more sustainable and thus save energy. In summer, our homes use less energy than in winter. In summer you are outside more often and the heating does not have to be switched on. In winter, we often keep the windows closed to keep the heat in, but unfortunately that is when the problems arise. There is no fresh air coming into our well insulated houses. The lack of fresh air leads to high CO2 levels, which in turn leads to various health complaints.

Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Why do I need to have ventilation in the bathroom
Ventilation is necessary to create a healthy living environment. In damp rooms like the bathroom, good ventilation is extra important. This prevents health problems, but also problems such as strange odours, slipperiness, condensation and moisture problems including mould. Mould mainly grows in damp places and is not always visible. You can get rid of mould with baking soda, bleach or more persistent anti-fungal sprays, but this is only a short-term solution. To prevent mould and tackle it at its cause, it is necessary to ventilate the bathroom all year round. Moist air should especially not linger too long, especially if you like to take nice long showers.
